Rules
The Rules tab shows every rule in the same notation the alerts use, so a nurse can see exactly why an alert fired.

Reading a rule
Section titled “Reading a rule”- Breathing rate < 1 for 10 s: the reading stayed below 1 for ten seconds.
- SpO2 < usual − 5 for 10 s: five points below this resident’s usual value, not a fixed number.
- 1 of 2, 2 of 7: how many of the lines below must be true together. 2 of 7 means two independent signs, from different sensors, before the alert fires.
- Fired an open alert marks the line behind an alert that is open right now.
Changing a value
Section titled “Changing a value”Tap the pencil next to a line, change the threshold or the time window, and save. The change is checked, applies within a second, and is recorded with the old and the new value. Rules that are built in (a pressed call bell, a sensor gone offline) cannot be changed.
